Distance From the Boss

Upon returning to work the next day, Cheng Yao discovers that Qian Heng not only organizes a retreat but also secures a low-value case. To Cheng Yao’s surprise, the opposing party’s lawyer turns out to be Yao Feng, her ex-supervising lawyer who had previously bullied her. This realization moves Cheng Yao deeply and fuels a determination within her to work even harder and with more focus, as a way to express gratitude toward her boss for looking out for her.
